Our mission is to give elementary students the opportunity to try theatre at no cost. Lincoln Drama Club is open to all grade levels (k-5) and every student gets a role. They participate in a live show and get to experience the thrill of the stage!
During rehearsals, we not only work on the current show, but we also teach theatre terms and techniques through fun acting games and exercises.
Lincoln Drama Club was started in the 2023-2024 school year. It started with 80+ student actors and has grown to over 100 students. Drama Club allows the kid who has never tried it, to try it; the kid with a little experience, to get more experience; the kid who is nervous, to turn the nerves into fun.
Theatre is such an important way to help students grow:
